Job Description

Perform the Customer Service and Reservation functions in an accurate manner, providing effective customer service and complete the clerical duties.  Answers all calls and takes reservations in a concise and accurate manner.     

  • Answer telephones, direct outside calls to appropriate party, schedule all passenger trips and record all cancellations in a timely manner.
  • Schedule Operators and verify bus sign outs on a daily basis.
  • Provide effective and efficient customer service including answering questions and providing requested information.
  • Record passenger complaints and commendations.
  • Enter information, print and verify stat sheets daily.
  • Empty fare boxes, count fares, maintain appropriate revenue paperwork and deposit revenue at back according to the money room procedures.  
  • Maintain a daily journal/record.  
  • Issue and record tickets, tokens and transfers that are sold.

Strong administrative and management skills      
Strong communications skills, including verbal, written and reading      
Excellent customer service skills

Qualification

High school diploma or GED and at least three (3) years experience in customer service.
A background in computer operations and common PC applications is required.
