Job Description

Join Spherion's premier client in the Healthcare industry for this amazing Data Entry opportunity! Our client has an immediate need for assistance in their Member Services department. If you have experience in cash receipts, bring excellent attention to detail, and are looking for a position that offers professional experience, this role is it!

- Prepare and enter data from scanned documents.- Analyze, update, and maintain departmental databases and SharePoint sites.
- Perform bank account reconciliations by resolving and balancing premium and miscellaneous payment variances to corporate bank accounts.
- Process cash receipts including lockboxes, ACH, card payments, cash, Check Free payments. Resolve variances.
- Receive and monitor held checks. Process checks to the appropriate account or perform customer outreach to investigate the held check.
- Coordinate and process the mailing of external documents including critical regulatory and customer notification documents.
- Coordinate approval and quality audit controls to protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) to prevent HIPAA violations.
- Verify control totals, release files and sign off of ID cards, Member Guides, SBCs and other vendor documents through vendor portals for distribution to external customers.
- Maintain and apply all departmental established cash controls
- Work with the corporate bank, external vendors, and internal departments to research technical and production issues and resolve customer issues.
- Communicate with internal and external customers including members and employer groups as needed to resolve issues.
- Perform other special assignments as requested.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

- Ability to effectively manage time to handle multiple tasks, to meet time sensitive deadlines and to organize workload with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft office, specifically strong Excel skills, with the ability to use/learn company specialized software and hardware.
- Working knowledge of database systems.
- High level attention to detail and customer service.


1-4 years

- Associates or Bachelor's degree. Two to five years of experience in a professional office setting other applicable finance related work may be substituted.
- Experience or knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Federally-Facilitated Marketplace, or other health insurance.
- Experience with cash receipts/cash handling.
- Experience in account reconciliation.
- Strong Data Entry Skills (testing required)
