Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator to add to our incredible clients' team!
If you have experience with design, implementation, configuration, administration, and efficiency of databases, including the performance, integrity, and security of the enterprise database environments and systems, then this is the career for you.

Responsibilities include the evaluation, selection and recommendation, implementation, technical documentation and problem resolution for database technology solutions. Architects new solutions for database maintenance, backup, archiving, and resiliency. Builds and maintains data dictionary. Performs database optimization, trend analysis, and improvement identification. Participates as a technical resource to IT department for database projects. Consistently provides world class customer service to internal and external customers.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Demonstrating proficiency in administration and configuration with Microsoft SQL Server or DB2 in a transactional environment.
Demonstrating proficiency in IT process analysis methods, change control methodologies, software installation and methods, ITIL/ITSM concepts and principles.
Demonstrating ability to architect complex, secure, and highly available systems.
Demonstrating familiarity with the interrelationship of application development, systems programming, operations, and the support center.
Demonstrating strong understanding of database software licensing.
Implementing Database High Availability and/or disaster recovery technologies; AlwaysOn, Mirroring,
Log Shipping, and Replication.
Utilizing PowerShell and other tools for automation, administration, and resolution.
Transacting SQL design, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Exhibiting strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Utilizing excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills, presenting ideas in user-friendly language.
Effectively working with product vendors and support personnel.
Exhibiting excellent customer service skills and ability to work with others.
Must demonstrate professionalism and courtesy in all customer interaction.


10+ years

Bachelor's degree in an IT related field OR an equivalent combination education, training and experience in addition to experience listed below.
At least seven (7) years' work experience in an enterprise-scale IT Operations environment or equivalent.
At least five (5) years' work experience as a Database Administrator gained in the last seven (7) years OR equivalent education, training and/or experience demonstrating considerable knowledge of database systems design and architecture.
