Design and Drafting Apprentice

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Draft mechanical, assembly, and detail drawings for electronics under the supervision of an engineer.
Create Bills of Materials in material requirements planning (MRP) system.
Create, process, and track Engineering Change Notices (ECN)
Create production job documentation packages for manufacturing

Qualifications:

AutoCad experience required
Experience in SolidWorks required
Expereince with PC Boards preferred
Practical knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel
Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
Mechanically inclined, knowledge of machine shop processes a plus


Pay range- $13-18/hour
CONFIRM NO PREVIOUS INTERVIEW OR WORK FOR PMI BEFORE- IF SO, GET APPROVAL

Education

High School Diploma/GED
Experience

Minimum of 1-3 years experience

Responsibilities:
Assisting the Engineer with design and drafting work

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Solidworks and AutoCAD

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Ability to learn and apprentice under the Engineer.
