Job Description

As a Director of Enterprise Master Data you will be responsible for leading a team of ~40 professionals devoted to creating and maintaining high-quality master data for use across the entire company. As the overall leader of this organization, you will oversee and drive all elements of master data policy and governance. You will set the vision and strategy for the team and collaborate with partner organizations to deliver data solutions to meet the evolving needs of the semiconductor industry.

The Enterprise Master Data team is comprised of Business Analysts, Data Architects, Software Engineers, Process Managers, and Master Data Specialists who understand the importance of maintaining a single source-of-truth for master data that is captured once, accurately, completely, correctly, consistently and unambiguously, then delivered on-time to processes that require it. We do this through robust business processes, strong data governance, ECO change control policies, advanced system solutions and analytics, and data quality audits. The team is accountable for the quality of data across the following disciplines: Product Master, Customer Master, Vendor Master, Direct & Indirect Materials, Bills of Materials, and Manufacturing Attributes & Vintages.

The team is preparing to modernize its BOM structure, which will require a complete redesign of the BOM and associated business processes, as well as a significant data cleansing, conversion, and migration effort. We are looking for a veteran leader with experience leading large-scale, multi-year master data transformations using an Agile methodology.

Lead large-scale data transformation effort to modernize master data model and BOM to enable other ongoing business transformations
Serve as the Chief Master Data Steward and Product Owner for the system solution
Create and maintain trusted relationships with leaders from partner organizations.
Solicit feedback on areas of improvement.
Collaborate on solutions and prioritize efforts.
Instill a sense of accountability for data quality across the team.
Use metrics to drive continuous improvement activity.
Attract, develop, and retain talent to ensure the right skills and behaviors are in place to meet the business need.
Create alignment and accountability through clear goals that match team members??? contributions with goals and metrics.
Provide leadership to the team, communicate expectations, and deliver effective performance feedback.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

10 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, IT, and/or Engineering
5 years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM), Product Data Management (PDM), Data Governance, or Data Architecture functions
5 years of experience in a people-leadership role with proven ability to develop high performing teams
Experience leading large-scale projects or programs, working with metrics & analytics, and leading process improvements
Understanding of program management best practices; PMP Certification preferred
Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts
Successful candidates will have knowledge of the semiconductor industry and familiarity with supply chain & procurement processes
Knowledge and experience with enterprise source systems and other systems that consume master data, including ERP systems, Data Warehouses, etc.
Familiarity with Siemens Teamcenter and SAP
Ability to promote innovative ideas, make independent decisions, and accept the risks that are required to lead change
Ability to translate broad or general concepts into tangible deliverables
Proven problem-solving skills
Possesses financial acumen
Comfort dealing with ambiguity
Experience with Sprint/Agile methodologies to improve speed of delivery
Ability to influence others using a variety of approaches with or without positional authority
Able to break down large concepts into small deliverables with attention to detail while not losing sight of the overall strategy
Exceptional presentation skills
Comfort interfacing with Executives, including C-Suite, and communicating complex concepts in straightforward business terms
Ability and willingness to travel, both domestic and international, as needed to support job scope

B.S. degree in a relevant discipline such as: Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, IT, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience from an accredited university
