Job Description

Our client is hiring individuals with HACCP certification. Applicants for this job are expected to provide direct for their quality control programs and oversee the SQF System. For this job, applicants will need the HACCP certification and at least 4 years of Quality and Food Safety experience.

Pay: $80,000-$100,000/year
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Type: Full time


- Provides direction for Company-wide Product Quality Programs and Food Safety Systems. Works directly with Operations management to assure implementation and adherence to these programs and systems.
- Leads personnel to successfully achieve quality objectives. Responsible for leadership and management of department employees.
- HACCP Coordinator
- Responsible for the development, implementation and revision of quality policies and procedures necessary to ensure compliance with State and Federal Regulations Serves as chair of various Quality teams.
- Manages Sanitation Department of 8 Team Members
- Responsible for assigning and completing internal quality audits of the facility and any customer required audits.
- Leads third party audits and inspections. Responsible for overseeing or completing audit deviations resulting from any inspections.
- Implement Global Food Safety Initiative
- Oversee the development, implementation, maintenance and review of the SQF System, including food safety fundamentals, food safety plan and food quality plan.
- Reviews process deviations, Corrective Action Reports (CAR's), Hold/Reject information and potential quality issues with appropriate plant personnel.
- Oversees Customer Complaints and follow-up actions. Prepares corrective action reports for customers as required
- Responsible for organizing and conducting plant wide training for Quality related topics
- Coordinates and ensures the smooth progress of the analytical samples through the laboratory. This includes analysis, calculating results, logging and reporting results, maintaining retain samples, investigating out of specification results and maintaining all related computer inventories and databases

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

- Advanced Degree in Food Science
- Must be qualified and trained in one of the accredited Global Food Safety Initiatives
- Must be HACCP certified and trained in Quality Management
- No less than 4 years' experience in Quality and Food Safety
