Job Description

If you are a Distribution Center, and or Logistics talent with Senior Lead, and or Supervisory experience, this may be the perfect opportunity for you! We are looking for a second shift Leader who is looking to expand his/her horizons while developing your associates. An individual who will ensure the accurate and timely movement of our clients quality products. A people person who understands how to motivate and bring the best out of your team. This opportunity is with a new DC here in Stockton, CA. This means room for growth and continued development. It also means you will play a major role in its success!

- Receive, store and handle products effectively in the distribution center.
- Manage inventory control system based on company policies.
- Supervise all the activities in distribution center as per standards operating policies.
- Develop and share best warehouse practices with team members.
- Oversee product shipments to customers in accurate and timely manner.
- Manage carriers and allocate proper routes o ensure timely distributions.
- Follow company procedures and safety policies at all times.
- Ensure that distribution center is maintained clean, safe and organized.
- Assist in budge development and expense management activities.
- Stay updated with latest trends in distribution techniques.
- Understand customer labeling and packaging requirements and ensure to meet the customer needs.
- Provide assistance to team members and conduct training as needed.
- Monitor team performance and provide feedback for improvements.
- Identify appropriate resources, perform daily workload assignments, and make staffing adjustments.
- Develop continuous improvement initiatives to ensure quality, productivity and safety.

Working hours: Various Shifts Available

- Personnel development and accountability.
- Inventory Control and Quality Control skills and practices.
- Ability to train, coach, monitor, and follow through on projects/tasks.
- Computer literate in using WMS as well as MS Office for reporting and tracking.
- Equipment knowledge and experience; IE: PIT, RF Scanning, Order Selecting Process', etc.

High School

4-7 years

A proven Leader who truly understands 'Distribution Center' process' from inbound to outbound.
