Job Description

Amazing opportunity for a skilled Logistics/Distribution Center Lead, and or Supervisor to grow within a new local Distribution Center Plant.

Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will lead the warehouse staff to operate and facilitate the daily work of the distribution center. He/She will manage the performance and reporting of the distribution center including inventory levels, supply cost control, staff overhead and other expenditures. You will establish daily and weekly distribution goals and objectives and ensure the execution of these objectives. You will also contribute to the development of personnel, processes, and procedures.

Working hours: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Skills:
- Receive, store and handle products effectively in the distribution center.
- PIT operations, order selecting, RF scanning.
- Manage inventory control system based on company policies.
- Supervise all the activities in distribution center as per standards operating policies.
- Develop and share best warehouse practices with team members.
- Oversee product shipments to customers in accurate and timely manner.
- Manage carriers and allocate proper routes o ensure timely distributions.
- Follow company procedures and safety policies at all times.
- Ensure that distribution center is maintained clean, safe and organized.
- Assist in budge development and expense management activities.
- Stay updated with latest trends in distribution techniques.
- Understand customer labeling and packaging requirements and ensure to meet the customer needs.
- Provide assistance to team members and conduct training as needed.
- Monitor team performance and provide feedback for improvements.
- Identify appropriate resources, perform daily workload assignments, and make staffing adjustments.
- Develop continuous improvement initiatives to ensure quality, productivity and safety.

Education:
High School

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
Thorough knowledge of functional areas under supervision.
