Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating for operating the software program Revit in order to prepare, update, and release technical drawings and details of commercial plans from sketches, field notes, or direct instruction. Develop and deliver design concepts on projects of various scale in size and complexity as part of an experienced and talented project team.

- Participate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and production.
- Using the approved shop drawings, design calculations, and the 3D model, create fabrication drawings for every individual and unique panel for specific release to Production.
- Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies, and other vendors to meet overall project objectives.
- Produced graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings.
- Prepare and modify architectural documents, elevations, sections, details, etc. using Building Information Modeling (BIM).
- Develop solutions to technical and design problems following established standards.
- With direction from the project architect or other senior design professionals, develop, modify, and/or review drawings to ensure the incorporation of design intent.
- Assist in developing project scope, plan, and services and during the contract process.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

- Work effectively in a collaborative, team environment on projects with project managers, consultants, and other employees.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High self-motivation for completing tasks in a timely and efficient manner with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail while completing tasks in order to meet aggressive project schedules.


1-4 years

- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting or equivalent from an accredited four-year college or technical school.
- 2+ years of related experience and/or training using Revit.
- Knowledge of commercial construction techniques, construction documents, building codes, familiarity with local jurisdictions, codes and review processes.
- Experience with StrucSoft is a plus.
