Job Description

1. Synopsis of Role:
This position provides course material-related support to students, faculty and staff.

2. Essential Functions: (List all the functions)
- Works collaboratively with program directors, faculty, and other Academic support staff to further the electronic delivery of course materials to students and faculty, to include web-based multimedia products
- Assists students with course material and library inquiries
- Provides Academic staff with desk copies for course and library materials as requested
- Assists with evaluating course materials to ensure copyright compliance as needed
- Utilizes reports and spreadsheets to maintain accuracy and provide information
- Works daily in multiple databases and online interfaces to perform tasks
- Supports the Library staff and Electronic Course Materials management as assigned
- Provides Tier 1 technical support for student resources

4. Education and Experience:
- Strong Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel skills. Experience with MS Access desirable
- Preference is given to candidates who have worked in online information services
- Familiarity with office automation packages and knowledge of Web software is desirable
- Working knowledge of copyright law and/or ADA 508 compliance desirable
- Experience working with web-based multi-media desirable
- High School Diploma required
- Some college or work experience equivalent desired

5. Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Standard office environment

Working hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
