Job Description

- Ensuring adherence to the Environment Health and Safety Act, Environment Safety and Health Administration requirements, and all other applicable regulations, laws, and legislation in Florida and USA.
- Serve as company liaison to federal, state and local government agencies for matters pertaining to environmental, health and safety compliance, fire protection and emergency response and administrative completion of required reporting.
- Ensure compliance with various regulations and Management System requirements pertaining to employee safety, hazardous material exposure, and environmental conditions.
- Responsible for compliance and regulatory recordkeeping and reporting
- Establish and develop training programs and comply with employee training requirements
- Ensure Compliance with CAA and manage air permits
- Ensure compliance with CWA and manage NPDES/ SWPPP programs
- Implement and manage requirements under EPCRA
- Manage an LQG Hazardous Waste Program Per RCRA/DOT requirements
- Develop, coordinate, lead and/or support environmental, health and safety training, including conducting training sessions when required and assure proper record-keeping.
- Liaising with Supervisors/Managers on all worker compensation claims
- Continuously review operations, recognize and evaluate workplace safety and health hazards.
- Data entry for all Regional specific EHS information in Cintellate (EHS database)
- Implements and promotes awareness/understanding of the 14001/18001 management systems and internal EHS standards, policies and procedures by providing related training to all assigned sites as required.
- Oversee and/or maintain chemical and material inventory and usage database or records and ensure Safety Data Sheets are current and in compliance with Hazard Communication Standards.
- Ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance within the core values and current policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned

Working hours: 7am - 4pm

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of EHS legislation
Knowledge of OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 management systems
Certified Auditor of OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001
High level of computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools;
Must be legally eligible to work in USA
