Job Description

First shift (7am-3:30pm) must be able to be flexible on shift? examples: 10am-6pm or 1pm-9:30pm or 3:30-12am

Sets up equipment to meet product standards for identification
Weighs, mixes and identifies items
Follows intermediate drawings and procedures.
Performs connector assemblies.
Performs work with limited to no supervision.

Responsibilities:
Sets up equipment to meet product standards for identification, shell painting, retainer loading, contact painting, wire cutting, riveting, contact crimping and contact hooding.
Weighs, mixes and identifies items such as inks, paints, adhesives, molding compounds and potting materials.
Follows intermediate drawings and procedures.
Performs connector assemblies.
Performs work with limited to no supervision.
Manually loads and/or machine loads retainers into molded plastic inserts per work order instructions.
Bonds loaded front inserts to molded plastic rear inserts per work order instructions.
Bonds interface seals and grommet seals to plastic insert assemblies per work order instructions.
Paints components.
Assembles and bonds EMI rings to connector shell per work order instructions.
Applies identification stamping to various components and assemblies.
Applies paint stripe markings to contacts.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
3-5 years Experience in mechanical or electrical assembly.
Knowledge with blueprint, bill of materials chart, and shop order specifications.
Ability to use mechanical or power hand tools and gauges
Soldering experience a plus.
