Job Description

Performs electric and electronic advanced maintenance inspections, diagnosis, repairs and equipment improvements, providing permanent support in emergencies, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures and best practices, complying with defined quality standards.

Responsibilities:
-Commit with health, safety and environmental policies and notify situations that present potential risk.
-Ensure product quality complying with defined standards and reporting deviations.
-Carry out duties in an efficient manner meeting productivity and efficiency standards in accordance with minimum costs.
-Perform activities according to applicable procedures.
-Complete and update all applicable records ensuring information accuracy and product traceability.
-Ensure proper use of the company assets, detecting and reporting malfunctioning.
-Attend and collaborate in training activities in order to maintain and increase the company knowledge.
-Proactively suggest improvements and participate in continuous improvement activities.
-Maintain a clean and ordered workplace.
-Perform activities understanding their consequences on the global process.
-Abide by company discipline norms.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Skills:
-Inspect, diagnoses, and performs advanced electric and electronic repairs, replacements and upgrades.
-Follows up repairs ensuring the performed work effectiveness.
-Makes failure analysis, establishing the problems root causes and taking actions to avoid repetitions.
-Carries out repairs and improvements on large electrical engines, low and mid voltage panels and protection systems.
-Intervenes in sensors control loops and in variable speed drives.
-Interprets electrical drawings.
-Calibrates and performs adjustments in electronic instruments and industrial PC's.
-Verifies and ensures the availability of resources and spare parts needed for the execution of programmed tasks.
-Cooperates with the Base Group in preventative activities.
-Interacts with other areas.
-Carries out forklift or radio control overhead crane operation when applicable.
-Updates information in the maintenance systems and performs maintenance reports.

Education:
High School

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
-Completed HS or 5 years of experience in a company.
-5 years of industrial electrician experience.
-Experience with 3 phase 480 volt systems including: motors, controllers, A/C & D/C variable speed drives.
-Experience with Allen Bradley PLC Drives.

Schedule:
-Available to work on Rotating Shift
-Available to work overtime and weekends when required
