Job Description

We're looking for a highly detailed, very organized, and efficient Quality Inspector for an electronics Manufacturer in Hernando County.

Our ideal candidate will be familiar with electrical, dimensional and mechanical inspection processes, as you will be performing line and sub-assembly inspections through repetitive procedures. Preferably, we're looking for someone with IPC 610 and/or PCB Inspection experience, but at a minimum has approximately 2-3 years' of General Component Inspection experience, where you consistently followed process work instructions.

Temp-to-Hire Career Opportunity

Full Time Monday - Friday, with occasional overtime as needed

$12 - $14.50 per hour depending on experience

- Perform Incoming Material, Final QA and Receiving Inspection of electrical components (resistors, capacitors, IC?s, transistors, diodes, crystals, coils, inductors and relays)
- Review and inspect blueprints against the results of the engineer and customer?s expectations
- Perform PWB, Panel, Circuit Card and Wire Harness Assembly Inspections
- Follow IPC 610, IPC 620 and Soldering Standard IPC-JSTD-001 standards
- Perform physical tests on materials, verify conformance to the required tolerances
- Complete respective paperwork and documentation, entering and extracting data to/from the computer
- Ensure all assignments and tasks are performed in compliance with Federal, State, Provincial, and Company safety and health regulations, and wearing personal protective equipment at all times

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM

- Ability to meet minimum eye test and color recognition requirements
- High attention to detail, and organized
- Use a variety of measuring tools: electrical test sets, multimeters, fixed, limit, plug-gages, steel rules, scales, micrometers, calipers, surface plates, hardness testers, profilometers, durometers, tension testers, and other similar tools
- Ability to use GO/NO GO
- Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints
--Ability to use self judgement to determine inferior material or workmanship, while following instructions or partially prescribed procedures
--Intermediate - Advanced Mathematical skills
--Ability to use computer, bar code scanner, and other basic office equipment

High School

1-4 years

- Submit to and meet client's Criminal History Check requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Must possess good math fundamentals, comprehend written work instructions, and communicate well.
- 1-2+ years IPC 610 and/or PCB Inspection experience
- 2-3 years general component inspection experience
- Interpret simple and complex parts of assembly drawings and blueprints
- Must be willing to obtain and/or maintain ESD Precautions Standard?s certification
- Must be willing to obtain and/or maintain IPC-JSTD-001, IPC610 and IPC620 certifications
