Job Description

Work Goals:
- Compliance and optimization of production processes in electroplating according to cost, quality and time taking into account customer requirements to achieve the Management objectives.
- Compliance with the currently valid safety and environmental regulations and the official regulations
- Compliance with the specified efficiency of the electroplating plant
- Proper implementation of the tasks listed under point 3
- Quality responsibility in the assigned department
- Proper management of the neutralization plant

- Analysis of waste water samples and bath parameters
- Preparation the filter media from the electroplating plant
- Analysis of production data
- Provision and transport of chemicals
- Elimination of plant / process disturbances (electroplating and waste water Treatment)
- Inventory and storage of chemicals
- Ordering of chemicals incl. The creation of requirement reports regarding frame orders
- Chemical addition according to analytical specifications
- Documentation of chemicals
- Carry out inventory
- Implementation and documentation of maintenance work on the electroplating plant
- Compliance with and maintenance of relevant maintenance intervals
- Participation in CIP projects
- Participation in production relevant meetings
- Monitoring the waste water Treatment
- Monitoring of workplace safety and health environmental regulations
- Monitoring of the electroplating plant and compliance with the process parameters
- Supervision of order and cleanliness in the electroplating plant
- Monitoring the periphery
- Monitoring and operation of the waste water treatment
- Monitoring and maintenance of the air scrubber in accordance with the maintenance schedule
- Initiate corrective / preventive measures in case of deviations from permissible wastewater limits
- Initiate correction and preventive measures for internal / external complaints
- Removal and storage of chemicals
- Carrying out the relevant wastewater documentation

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Math and mechanical aptitude.
- Understand and execute routine written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
- Proven record of exemplary attendance.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Background of Chemistry education and/or experience.
- Experience in a lab setting (i.e. knowledge of equipment and procedure).
- Experience in electroplating process.

High School

1-4 years

- Work schedule consists of 3, 12-hour shifts (7:00 am-7:00 pm or 7:00 pm - 7:00 am)
