Job Description

Direct hire!! Will oversee both the Engineering and Quality Departments to ensure effective use of a resources to produce quality products on a consistent basis while minimizing costs.

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

** Respond to Customer requests in a timely manner which will exceed their
expectations
** Effectively communicates with customers on a daily basis, as needed
** Reports to personnel as described in the Company???s organizational structure

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
ENGINEERING TEAM:

-- Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment and personnel in producing
quality products at minimum costs.
-- Acts as liaison with engineering in releasing new products.
-- Develops systems to maintain reports and record keeping of company products.
-- Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of
the function.
-- Manages the activities of a section or department with responsibility for results,
including costs, methods and staffing.
-- Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires
evaluation of a variety of factors including an understanding of current business
trends.

TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT:

-- Implements best practices and methods for product development and
implementation.
-- Liaison with production, maintenance and logistics to ensure safety, quality and
production goals are met.
-- Manages defect management and change control processes.
-- Management and supervision of department staff and budget.

Education:
Bachelors

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
COMPUTER SKILLS

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
AUTOCAD
SolidWorks
Mastercam
Partmaker

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

--Demonstrated proficiency with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, gauge
blocks, plug gauges, thread gauges and dial indicators, etc.
--Proficiency with geometric design tolerance.
--Knowledge of ISO9000 Standards.
--Internal Auditing experience.
--Show initiative, anticipate, and prevent problems.
--Mechanical aptitude and visual acuity
--Possess a proven ability to think logically to solve manufacturing problems, or
while evaluating new processes
