Engineering Technologist in Orlando
US$ 26.00 - US$ 38.00 per hour, $26 - 38 per hour + none
Perform condition assessments on mostly electrical assets, but could also assess architectural, mechanical, electrical and site systems and coordinate life cycle requirements with other technical requirements for input into comprehensive project planning.-
Perform facility condition assessments of various property types, including large industrial, office and telecommunications installations.
Prepare descriptive and technical inspection reports describing the current state of the facilities and recommend corrective actions to help decision-making process.
Develop and maintain inventory of all structural, architectural, electrical, and mechanical components within the facility based on the UNIFORMAT II classification for building elements.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
4-6 month contract
Working hours: Mon-Fri day shift
Vocational/Technical school, Associates degree and at least 6 years of job-related experience or equivalent.
Excellent communication and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs.
Knowledge of building systems design, materials, structure and construction, including structural, MEP, roofing, etc. and be able to read and interpret related system drawings and specifications is required.-
Experience conducting large, complex facility condition assessments and experience with CAD is desired.
