Job Description

***Bachelor's Degree Required***

The Executive Assistant will be working directly for the Executive Director of a local non-profit organization. They will conduct clerical tasks and maintain a schedule for the Executive Director. The Executive Assistant will also be responsible for other day to day duties such as: meeting and conference coordination and support, office supply purchasing, direct mail, assisting with special events, and working on special projects. This position requires someone that can be professional and discreet while handling confidential information, and have a high level of competency and pro-activeness.

-Scheduling complex activities
-Managing incoming and outgoing mail
-Preparing correspondence and donor acknowledgement letters for the Executive Director
-Working independently and as a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects
-Prepares presentations, meeting agendas, and meeting minutes

Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

-Excellent communication skills, written and oral
-Ability to work without direct supervision
-Professional demeanor and positive attitude
-Ability to remain calm and tactful while under pressure
-Ability to handle sensitive materials and information with diplomacy and discretion


1-4 years

-Bachelor's Degree
-3+ years of related work experience
-Significant computer and secretarial skills
