Our client, a manufacturing facility in Kenner, LA , is looking for experienced Fabrication Machinists - Mill & Lathe CNC Operators.


This position is Monday- Thursday.
This position is a 2nd shift position (4:30PM-3:50AM) with training on 1st shift. (6:00AM to 4:30PM) Interested candidates must be willing to work both.
Starting pay is weekly at $16.90/hr. + $.85 shift differential when transitioning to 2nd shift.

Responsibilities:
Candidate will be responsible for fabricating parts by programming and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine.

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Skills:
Proficent experience in operating CNC lathe and mills machines
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to make quick decisions
Dexterity and hand-eye coordination
demonstrate mathematical and manual calculation skills

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
HS Education or equivalent.
Must have at least 1 year of previous experience in this role
Shop test given after interview
