Keeps machinery and equipment of a manufacturing plant in good repair.
Installs, maintains, repairs or rebuilds complicated machine tools and special purpose machines and equipment such as punch presses, press brakes, lathes, milling machines, radial drill presses, etc.
Examines machines for defects in operation, disassembles problem equipment and determines the extent of repairs necessary.
Replaces defective parts, makes necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operations and fabricates minor replacement parts.
Understanding machine parts lists and ordering of parts
Working hours: 6am-4:30pm
Minimum 5 years experience required
Must have ability to read and understand mechanical adjustments and procedures and mechanical drawings.
General PLC knowledge preferred.
General electrical knowledge in 110 to 480 volt a.c.circuits both single and three phase.
Ability to run/install electrical wires/conduits.
Ability to operate scissor lift and forklifts.
Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Knowledge of Hydraulic Systems is a plus.
