Job Description

Are you mechanically inclined with the skills of a carpenter?
Then this is your job!
This position does all the final preparations to prepare the product for shipment to the customer.
Temp-to-Perm position that will see up to $2.00/hour pay increase when you go permanent!! If you've earned it!!

Plans and carries out assembly finishing procedures, based on specifications provided.
> Applies nameplates and any special tags specified on router or PSR sheet on product.
> Retrieves tagging information from computer and makes nameplates and special tags on laser equipment.
> Has to retrieve information from computer for any special requirements specified for product prior to shipment.
> Build or retrieves correct wood skid to secure product for shipment.
> Refers to specifications in order to make material selections and to build appropriate skids.
> Bands/secures product to skid.
> Applies rust preventative on raised face and inside of product or where specified on PSR.
> Preps product for special paint on wood skid.
> Touch up internal paint prior to shipment.
> Inspect products for any Quality defects prior to shipment.
> Maintain a safe and clean work area.

Working hours: 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM

>-One to three months of related work experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction and procedure manuals.
>-Ability to follow a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule formats.
>-Conversely, should be able to communicate information effectively, in the same manner.
>-Ability to perform basic math functions by hand, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
>-Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished.
>-Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
>-To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of both internet and Manufacturing software.
>-Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
>-Previous experience operating lifting devices.
>-Previous carpentry experience.

High School

1-4 years

Will train on 1st shift then become a part of a 2nd shift they are starting up. 3pm-midnight.
