Job Description

- Accounting entry and bookkeeping including accounts payable and payroll on the QuickBooks accounting software.
- Completes and files necessary reports and information, such as annual reporting for Arts License plate grants, in a timely manner.
- Maintains up-to-date files and records including insurance policies, unemployment taxes and other finance related information.
- Files appropriate financial information tax office and other regulatory organizations in a timely basis.
- Provides staff support to Finance Committee and Treasurer
- Prepares reports for the Executive Director and Finance Committee for Board meetings
- Prepares annual budget for review by Executive Director, Finance Committee and Board.
- Works with accounting firm on annual financial reports and audit.
- Reconciles monthly bank statements.
- General office errands relative to financial development, including bank deposits.

- Creates a welcoming entry point for visitors to company offices and provide general information for the public through responses to general e-mail inquiries and phone calls.
- Oversees daily mail distribution.
- Responsible for ordering office supplies, up keep of supply closet, and office equipment maintenance/lease agreements.
- Oversees efficient use of all CHCC storage space/closets.
- Oversees that the financial data is regularly backed up and secure.
- Works with Programs Manager to coordinate cultural center rental agreements, payment schedules and staffing schedule.
- Monitor facility needs and reports to Executive Director.
- Supports Executive Director in managing the office information technology.

Working hours: Mon-Fri (flexible)

- Minimum 5 years of experience in office or financial management
- Minimum High School Diploma. College degree in accounting, business management or related field preferred.
- Non-Profit experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc)
- QuickBooks experience required
