Job Description

Spherion has a new temp to hire opportunity with a local office here in Wichita Falls! We are looking for an outgoing and welcoming candidate to greet any visitors that arrive at the office, assist in the coordination and set up of various local events, and also provide general administrative support to the office. This may include answering phones, taking messages and transferring lines as needed, processing documents, working with Microsoft Office programs, plus sorting and distributing mail. This position does require some local travel to properly coordinate and set up events, so a valid driver's license will be required.

This position is part time, working around 30 hours each week. The schedule will be somewhat flexible, but candidates should be available for daytime hours around the 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM time frame. This position will be temp to hire and will be able to offer access to benefits once permanent.

- Greet each and every visitor warmly and with a welcoming smile
- Educate visitors with information about Wichita Falls including hotels, restaurants, and shopping, providing verbal directions as necessary
- Answer multi-line phone system, taking detailed messages and transferring to the appropriate department as necessary
- Running any requested reports within customer database
- Maintain accurate filing system
- Work alongside local hotels and meet with planners to coordinate conventions and events
- Set up welcome tables, prepare VIP gift baskets, and maintain inventory of these supplies
- Keep all in-office literature stocked up and maintain the inventory of these items
- Coordinate deliveries and pick-ups as directed

High School

1-4 years

Previous customer service experience is required
Minimum one year of experience providing administrative or clerical support in any position
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be willing to work and interact with the general public both in office and at any conventions and events
Valid driver's license
Proficiency with standard office equipment (computer, printer, fax, etc.) and Microsoft Office programs
Must be willing to submit to background check and drug screening
Must have proven job stability in order to be considered
