Job Description


We are looking for a dedicated, focused, and detail oriented individual for our Fit-Up Technician role! As a Fit-Up Technician you will perform all duties required to manufacture high purity stainless steel gas handling assemblies and
sub-assemblies in accordance with customer / internal drawings and specifications in support of product fabrication for high purity gas system distribution and mixing equipment.

-Maintain good communication within the manufacturing organization, engineering, and all team members.
-Perform assembly of products as required.
-Performs close tolerance layout to meet print specifications.
-Understand proper methods for pneumatic pressure testing, pipe cutting equipment, calipers, dimensional tolerances, tacking methods, isometric drawings, and BOMs.
-Train junior technicians and support qualification process.
-Work with production management and QA/QC to assure quality, conformity, and repeat-ability.
-Work with the project teams to develop required fabrication support documentation.
-Work with the manufacturing team on system construction, electrical panel construction, system interconnects, and system troubleshooting.
-Maintains tools, gauges and equipment in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
-Comply with all company safety policies and promote safety to all team members.
-Complies with company policies and procedures.

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Various Shifts Available)

-Strong mechanical skills and willingness to learn. Basic machine tool knowledge a plus.
-Ability to read/interpret complex blueprints, welding drawings, detailed specifications, written instructions and QC documents. Assist in development of standard operating procedures.
-Experience with measuring, hand and power tools, and measuring equipment: Calipers.
-Ability to work in fast pace environment with minimal supervision.
-Height Gauges, Micrometers, Gauges.
-Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
-Excellent team working and good organizational, communication and people skills. Good service attitude.
-Ability to prioritize and schedule workload. Self-starter.

High School

0-1 years

High School Degree or equivalent; post HS education and/or training preferred. 3-5 years of
experience in manufacturing environment or advanced training.
