Job Description

Outstanding opportunity in Downtown Jacksonville. Our client is seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper with 5+ years of experience. The Ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of GAAP, have experience working on QuickBooks Enterprise software, and possess advanced Excel skills.

Candidate MUST have experience managing multiple sets of books. Responsibilities include, handling a variety of accounting functions in accordance with GAAP such as preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules, and account reconciliations. Will assist with the monthly close and account analysis process while supporting the senior management to carry out the responsibilities of the financial reporting team in an environment with tight deadlines.

Preparation of monthly financial information in accordance with owner deadlines and requirements for multiple entities
Monthly general ledger account analysis and balance sheet account reconciliation.
Analysis of monthly financial statements.
Monthly bank reconciliations.
Maintaining balance sheet schedules
Resolution of problems and issues as needed.
Ensure adherence to policies and procedures and maintain effective internal controls.
Work as a team player in evaluating and resolving discrepancies, as needed.

Open to working in a small to midsize office family owned business
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Bachelors in Accounting (Preferred)
Minimum 5+ years of previous accounting experience
Must have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines as well as maintaining excellent customer service.
Ability to adapt to ever changing processes and requests while maintaining a positive and contagious spirit
Strong personal initiative, enthusiasm, results orientation and resourcefulness; exhibits sense of ownership and a commitment to achieving the organization's goals.
High degree of responsibility and initiative with the desire to advance beyond this position.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and relate effectively, productively, and positively with other Associates.
Dependable, punctual, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
Knowledge of or ability to learn property management accounting processes, including use of any industry specific software.
Typing and data entry skills.
Advanced proficiency in Excel & QuickBooks Enterprise
