Job Description

Spherion has a client seeking a Help Desk Support Analyst. The Help Desk Support Analyst's role is to ensure proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks and is the first level of phone support and troubleshooting for all aspects of the operating system, hardware, telecommunications, and networked-based systems in an ethical and professional manner. Tier 1, 2 & 3 positions are available.

This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user help desk requests and escalating incidents when considered appropriate and necessary to maintain a defined service level expectation. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on help at the desktop level. Additionally, analysts will be speaking with both internal and external customers about issues related to security, SPAM, phishing, copyright violations, email issues, etc. They will also educate customers on security guidelines, acceptable use policies and best practices. They will be providing mostly over-the-phone support (mix of inbound and outbound) as well as some email support.

- Excellent teamwork skills and detail-oriented
- Ability to learn in a classroom and on-the-job training environment
- Microsoft Office Skills - Outlook, Word and Excel
- Cisco and A+ certifications are a plus
