Job Description

- Handbook policy Management ( Integration where appropriate to CCM Policies)
- Benefits Management & Training
- Collect local wage surveys - know local competition competing for local talent
- Plant floor presence for employee concerns with open door policy
- Performance Management - Support & Training
- Directs payroll processing, safety program, workers compensation claims handling and tracking.
- Responsible for assisting staff in safety and regulatory compliance
- Conducts research, assimilates data and creates a wage/salary scale.
- Provide resources for assisting staff with developing a workforce involving performance plans, company goals, and improvement systems. Develop training and people development resources and programs with input from staff. Requires collaboration and partnering. Assist leadership with growth and development of highly skilled workforce
- Responsible for recruitment strategies with managers for salaried and hourly production positions. Involves utilizing administrative staff for cross training and assistance.
- Responsible for communicating with staff and employees on employee orientation process, company benefit programs and all company communications including handbook and HR policies.
- Foster teamwork, team accomplishments and encourage involvement and interaction among team members across the workforce.
- Work closely with Corporate Human Resources function for input and guidance with corporate benefits, policies and recommendations for improvement.
- Work with management in developing social events and employee activities.
- Provide HR counseling and listening ear for employees and problem solving process in conjunction with leadership team. Hold confidences as priority.

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM

--A Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field is required
--5 years of HR Generalist experience
--Experience working within a manufacturing environment is desired
--PHR or SPHR certification is a plus
--Experience with payroll and time clock software, along with strong MS Office suite knowledge is required
--Strong communication skills, both written and verbal is essential
