Thriving company that provides a variety of tools, equipment, and supplies to car wash owners across the US and even internationally since 1963 is looking for YOU to join their flourishing team as a Human Resource Specialist!

Human Resource Specialist will support the Human Resource Manager with a variety of tasks such as:
  • Administrative Functions
  • Recruiting and Onboarding
  • Workers’ Compensation
  • Safety Team Planning
  • Employee Relations
  • Talent Development
  • Benefits Administration


Qualifications we are looking for...
  • 1‐3 years of HR experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of HR principles and federal/local regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.
  • Ability to travel up to 35% throughout Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Indiana. (Company car provided/Mainly Day trips/Overnights = Rare).
  • Flexibility to work some late evenings and during a weekend OCCASIONALLY.


You will...
  • Educate/communicate company policies & procedures to all employees.
  • Be responsible for onboarding new employees: employee handbooks, employment documents, and assist in benefits enrollment.
  • Create and maintain complete and confidential files on each employee.
  • Process, verify and maintain documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, and classifications.
  • Assist with company benefit administration to include enrollment forms, plan questions, claims resolution, and open enrollment.
  • Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns.
  • Establish and maintain department records and reports; recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency and services performed.
  • Coordinate and assist management with the entire recruitment cycle.
  • Process and review employment applications to evaluate the qualifications and eligibility of applicants.
  • Assist in managing workers’ compensation injury claims. File reports with insurance providers, maintain accident information and monitor progress.
  • Respond to various information requests from governmental agencies, such as Unemployment, in a timely manner.
  • Answer questions regarding eligibility, salaries, benefits, and other pertinent information.
  • Organize and assist management with employee engagement and talent development.
