Job Description

We are seeking a Human Resource Coordinator for a local transportation and logistics company.

Under the supervision of the HR Manager, the HR Coordinator performs tasks related to supporting the Human Resources department.

Responsibilities of the Human Resource Coordinator Include:
??? Supports full-cycle recruitment responsibilities including applicant tracking, screening, scheduling,
interviewing, and following up with candidates
??? Aids in coordinating various hiring events; recruits at career fairs (some traveling necessary)
??? Acts as liaison between applicants, candidates, new-hires, Hiring Managers and HR Manager
??? Assists Department or Hiring Managers in carrying out various Human Resources programs or activities
such as performance reviews, open enrollment, etc.
??? Maintains employee personnel files, I9 binders, and other HR related documents or information
??? Performs or assists the HR Manager with coordinating new-hire orientations and onboarding activities
??? Leads the administrative process for the employee referral program and other new-hire tracking projects
(i.e. hiring source, work shirt distribution, business card orders)
??? Provides administrative assistance to the department by filing, conducting travel arrangements,
maintaining schedules, opening mail and ordering supplies
??? Participates in coordinating employee events such as volunteer opp

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Required Qualifications of the HR Coordinator:
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Communications or related
field of Business is strongly preferred
2. 1+ year(s) of HR related work or internship experience is preferred. Must have general knowledge of
Human Resources principles, practices, laws and compliance
3. Must embody excellent interpersonal and communication skills
4. Experience with HRIS database and computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite
5. Ability to act professionally with sensitivity to confidential information
6. Ability to act as a self-starter, with the capability to multi-task and maintain organization
