Job Description

Spherion Staffing is looking to fill the role of HR Generalist for a local Bismarck client.
The Human Resources Generalist manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office. The HR Generalist manages the administration of the human resources policies, procedures, and programs. The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: departmental development, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, and employment.

Pay- $40-50k/year DOE
Monday-Friday 6:30am - 4:30pm

- Recommend, develop and implement employee relations practices
- Provide guidance and counsel to employees relative to policy administration and interpretation
- Conduct investigations as needed
- Conducts various HR related training classes
- Guide employees on training Talent Management and Development process & System
- Assist managers with succession planning and development discussions
- Coordinate employee training opportunities and continuing education
- Consult with managers in all job or salary related issues
- Provide consultation for all benefit/payroll related questions
- Assist client groups in determining appropriate staffing levels, recruitment resources, and objective selection techniques
- Administer job posting system
- Recruit, interview, and participate in the selection process.
- AAP administration
- Responsible for new hire orientation and onboarding

Working hours: Monday-Friday 6:30am - 4:30pm

--Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required
--PHR preferred
--Experience working with hourly and salaried employees strongly preferred
--Must be able to work off-shifts as needed to support production schedule
--SAP (HR Software)
--Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing employee relations practices
--High level of customer service skills
--Excellent written and verbal communication skills
--Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
