Job Description

The Human Resources Assistant is critical support for the HR team to ensure services provided are timely, accurate and aligned with the company's core values. This person will be responsible for providing administrative support for the department, assisting with the hiring process, orientations and entering employment records into our systems. Must be extremely professional with a strong sense of discretion and background in data entry. The HR Assistant is friendly, warm, upbeat, positive, patient, respectful, professional, highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, trustworthy, reliable and willing to take on any task as assigned. The Human Resources Assistant must maintain a positive attitude and be a strong communicator and listener.

Recruiting Support:
??? Assist with all daily recruiting/hiring efforts and scheduling interviews
??? Process background checks and conduct verifications of employment
??? Receive, review, track and process applications (online & in-person)
??? Collaborate daily with the recruiting & HR team
??? Proactively communicate with applicants; assist with all questions; explain various requirements
??? Assist with drug screens, orientation scheduling, confirmations, etc.
??? Update recruiting and tracking reports as needed

HR Administrative:
??? Assist with data entry into HRIS and/or applicant tracking system
??? Assist with benefits administration and data entry
??? Prepare and maintain HR files and DOT files
??? Ensure all guests and employees are welcomed in a warm and professional manner
??? Assist other departments as directed with additional projects
??? Provide social media support as directed
??? Special projects as assigned
??? Office errands as assigned
??? Maintain a professional appearance

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

--Ability to manage calendars, schedule meetings and work with various calendar applications (e.g. Outlook, Gmail, Doodle, etc.)
--Ability to multi-task and remain flexible with shifting priorities
--Ability to work and interact with a variety of personalities
--An understanding of various social media platforms (ability to post, monitor, track campaigns, etc.)
--Willing to learn new programs and skills (when necessary)

High School

1-4 years

??? 3+ years related administrative experience
??? Bilingual - Spanish & English fluent (preferred)
??? Bachelor???s degree (preferred)
??? Prior recruiting experience a plus
??? Strong computer skills (must be able to type quickly; proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, including an ability to work with Google Docs/Sheets/Excel, etc.)
??? Proficient with PowerPoint slideshow creation (or other programs: Prezi, etc.)
