Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Accurately and timely process plan hourly weekly payroll by
2. Generate and maintain ADP records for new and terminated hourly employees, create time and attendance schedules, update Access employee tracking system.
3. Prepare reports as requested for payroll, Human Resources.
4. Maintain Human Resources records for hourly employees
5. Support the administration of leave programs in accordance with the applicable federal and state employment laws (FMLAA, ADA, USERRA, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, etc.) including tracking hours used/taken, if
applicable, and working closely with HR and Payroll to ensure that pay for employees is accurate.
6. Administer employee benefits for hourly workforce. Assures new employee enrollments are processed timely. Maintains updated benefits information in ASR website. Administers annual benefits re-enrollments.
7. Performs duties as lobby receptionist including greeting visitors and answering phones.
8. Maintain inventory, monitor and restock office supplies through vendor for New Haven Avenue plant, including printer cartridges. Monitor copier and fax readiness and distribution of all plant secure keys.
9. Organize presentations and Learning Center for various meetings. Provide refreshments and lunches for customer visits and other meetings as requested.
10. Maintain corporate credit card and petty cash and accurately reconcile.
11. Assist Safety/Environmental Engineer as requested
12. Employee door access cards for hourly and salaried employees at NHA and Corporate Headquarters.
13. ADP and Enterprise E-Time processes.

Working hours: 8am - 5pm

Skills:
Position Specifications
High school diploma or GED required; Associate?s degree in Office Administration or Human Resources
preferred.
Two (2) years of administrative or human resources experience required.
Experience in a unionized manufacturing facility preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required; Power Point preferred.
Experience with time & attendance and/or payroll preferred. Knowledge of ADP or other HR payroll and
information system and E-Time time and attendance systems preferred.
