Job Description

Spherion is seeking the best talent match for a Highly Successful organization in Waco, Texas, for a Human Resources Generalist role. The Human Resources Generalist would provide support in all HR issues, as well as, administrative support to the Client Company's business units and human resources leadership team as it relates to the implementation, strategic planning and administration of personnel programs and initiatives for the organization.
The Human Resources Generalist must build credibility and trust among business unit leaders and employees alike and must be able to build bridges to maintain professional relationships. This role will manage the HR Team programs by developing project plans and delivering routine and transactional personnel services. This role will support Human Resources Strategies and objectives including but not limited to talent planning, leadership development, and performance management.

Working hours: 8am to 5pm

Plan and improve employee relations issues centered around company's policies, objectives and initiatives
Drives and inspires company's culture by talking about it, demonstrating it and encouraging it First point of contact for employee questions or concerns
Communicate and address with human resources' leadership and business unit leaders all employee concerns in a timely manner
Partner w/ Leadership to build and maintain coaching plans
Serve as back-up to Recruiters, assist with managing the onboarding process for all new hires
Provides forward thinking, positive, solutions-based consultation to business unit leaders while maintaining knowledge of employment regulations
Provide guidance and answer questions on policy interpretation, ensure uniform and equitable application of policies and procedures
Teaches knowledge and serves as a non-biased advisor to Leaders
Will ensure fair employment practices are in the background of decision making by leaders
Administer Talent Management programs, such as leaves, rotations, and work schedules, generate and distribute appropriate documentation
Maintains and tracks employee relations statistics and analyzes trends in matter types
Maintain all employees' records, ensuring that they are kept confidential
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree (preferred) in a related field such as Information Systems, HR, Business or equivalent education and experience
3 -5 years of experience in HR or doing related work
Compensation model design and implementation
HR policy design
Succession planning
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong ability to facilitate interaction with all levels of management.
Outstanding organizational and prioritization skills.
Ability to act with discretion and maintain confidentiality
