Job Description

The Receptionist is responsible for receiving incoming phone calls and assisting customers with appropriate directions and information. The Receptionist also take messages and transfers phone calls when necessary.

- Answer phones, takes messages accurately and transfer calls
- Addresses customers in a courteous, friendly manner.
- Serves as the main contact person for employees regarding all HR issues.
- Maintains and updates employee files with accurate and complete information.
- Assists in the interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
- Monitors and maintains job postings and employment job line.
- Maintains positions, files and procedures that are in compliance with State and Federal standards.
- Processes payroll in an accurate and timely manner.
- Facilitates the Workers Compensation, Short-Term/Long-Term Disability process. Communicates work-related injuries to managers as appropriate.
- Facilitates the New Hire Orientation process.
- Serves as Benefits Coordinator.
- Assists managers in recruitment process.
- Coordinates wage/salary issues such as PTO, retro-pay and merit increases.

- High School Diploma required, some college preferred
- Must have at least 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent. (Prior experience in a healthcare facility is also preferred).
