Job Description

Human Resources Senior Trainer will provide technical training to new and existing employees in a variety of areas of operations, as needed and required. Responsible for developing instructor-led and e-learning training programs to enhance organizational effectiveness and enhance employee knowledge.

-Develop instructor-led and e-learning training programs that meet the training needs of employees.
-Create e-learning courses, making visual and content layout decisions; and upload and test these programs prior to rollout.
-Work with LMS vendor to troubleshoot all issues that arise; compile reports and data; and communicate performance metrics.
-Orient new employees and newly transferred / promoted employees to appropriate software systems, customizing this training appropriately.
-Ensure that new employee orientation manual information is current and complete, updating organizational and departmental information as needed; assemble new employee orientation
manuals; and give to new employees during initial orientation process.
-Work with all department managers to develop and schedule Departmental Overviews for new employees within the first 8 weeks of hire; follow up with new employees to obtain feedback on overview and make necessary improvements/changes.
-Work with Compliance department to determine, and help coordinate, appropriate compliance training for all employees.
-Serve as liaison among all departments with regard to operational procedure changes, updates, corrections and clarifications.
-Schedule and coordinate both job skills and job-specific training as needed for all employees
-Research training options
-Serve as primary training liaison with Symitar to ensure that they continue to understand the training needs of employees, and offer appropriate training in a timely manner.
-Enter new employee information into BAI and assign classes appropriately for new employees as all levels of the organization. Oversee assignments, reports, etc.; reach out to employees who have not yet done their training and ensure that deadlines are met; offer employees assistance with access/classes as needed/required; update employee information in database following employee transfer or promotion; and remove departing employees from database.
-Develop, coordinate and conduct in-house Sexual Harassment, Diversity, and Team Building training's/programs for all employees.
-Develop, conduct, and analyze annual training satisfaction survey, and bring findings to Senior Management Team.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

-Ability to communicate effectively verbally with Supervisor, President / CEO, Members, Volunteers, Co-workers, and Senior Management Team.
-Ability to determine and manage timelines and due dates, prioritizing work and coordinating multiple simultaneous projects.
-High level of comfort with audio and video technologies.
-Analytical, logical, organized and creative.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to work both independently and within a team setting.
-Willingness to obtain additional professional training and/or certifications.
-Ability and willingness to travel to other Branches.


1-4 years

-Associates degree preferred.
-Familiarity with adult learning principles, learning theories and instructional methodologies and models, such as ADDIE and Kirkpatrick's Levels of Evaluation required.
-3-5 years professional training experience preferred.
-1-2 years professional banking or credit union experience preferred.
