Job Description

Industrial/ Building Maintenance Technician
We are looking for a skilled mechanic that can do both the industrial maintenance on the production machines as well as the building maintenance.Experience with pneumatic, electrical, boilers, air, compressors, hydraulics, PLC's, and pumps. Performed scheduled and preventative maintenance of all on site machinery. Will install, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and also do facility maintenance, including ongoing maintenance and repair of a building or area.

Responsibilities:
Will install, repair, and maintain industrial machinery. Working in a machine shop setting to ensure the smooth running of in-house production equipment.
Will also be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and repair of a building or area. Duties can vary from day to day and a maintenance schedule may be implemented so time management skills are required. Technician has to have a good knowledge of building skills including HVAC, plumbing, drywall installation, painting, and general building repair. Also will need to be adept at using a variety of hand and electrical tools. Experience in construction and a degree or certification from a technical school will be beneficial in this role

Working knowledge of three phase motors, programmable controls, circuits, computer interfaces and National Electrical Code
Full knowledge of three phase 480 volt equipment
Knowledge of maintenance hand tools, powered tools, diagnostic tools and computer programs
Knowledge of mechanical equipment,
Able to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints
Ability to comprehend computer, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
High school diploma/GED required
4+ years' industrial and building maintenance experience
Ability to work evenings and weekends as assigned
Willingness to inspect and evaluate all mechanical aspects of the building
Must have the ability to climb heights, lift up to 60 lbs. and climb onto ladders

Education:
High School

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
Previous work experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician AND Building Maintenance.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance.
Knowledge of parametric and industrial control systems.
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Basic computer and report writing skills.
Good communication skills.
Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment.
Good understanding of a variety of repair types, some might specialize in certain areas, such as carpentry or electrical.
