Produce and purify inorganic chemicals and high purity materials. Sets up, uses and cleans required equipment, tools and materials. Charges solids, liquids and gases to flasks and reactors. Monitors chemical reactions using analytical and laboratory equipment. Performs distillations, filtrations, extractions, recrystallization, and other techniques to purify and isolate products. Neutralizes and disposes of waste. Candidates must have a chemistry or science degree and have at least 3 months experience handling chemicals.
Working hours: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm M-F
Basic understanding of chemical reactions and hazards, ability to operate hand tools, lab equipment, calculator, and weighing and measuring devices
