Job Description

We have partnered up with a local manufacturing company and are looking for an industrial electrician. This company offers: medical, dental, vision, 401K and more!

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and test new equipment and systems, and come to repair or maintain older, pre-existing systems.
- Run electronic tests and inspections, clean and maintain electrical equipment; ensure that systems are grounded and installing outlets, lighting fixtures and switches.
- Troubleshoot PLC issues: Must be able to find the root cause of issues and think logically about solutions.
- Preventative measures such as greasing motors, electrical PM's, bending conduit and replacing old wiring are also among their duties. When electrical systems break down, industrial electricians are responsible for troubleshooting and fixing the problem.
- Repair large electrical equipment, like industrial fans, large motors, or control systems.
- Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and improving on production equipment, and providing support for the workings of auxiliary equipment.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and install control Wiring 12V AC/DC and 24V AC/DC.
-Maintain logs, and record labor, materials, and equipment used.
- Read blueprints and schematics and use an array of tools and diagnostic devices to service and install electrical parts.

Skills:
Education-Associates Technical Degree or Equivalent experience
Experience-5 years Industrial maintenance in manufacturing environment


Technical Knowledge-
--Critical Thinking: When diagnosing problems, industrial electricians must think critically in their process of repairing the issue.
--Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC's, Control Logic, Compact logics, Micro Logics, PLC 5 & Ladder logic.
--Be familiar with HMI, touch screens and panels.
--Working knowledge of transducers, photo eye, proximity switches, limit switches, light curtains, safety switches/circuits and servos.
