Job Description

Would perform multiply duties such as retrieving pallets and cases form the "p&d" stations and locate in the stationary racking to complete the putaway cycle. Also would unload and stages incoming goods to be received.

Skills

Able to use the following tools: 

  • Manual material handing equipment
  • All man-up and man-down motorized material handling equipment

Qualification

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand all day (up to 10 hours)
  • Push/pull containers or assemblies which may weigh up to several hundred pounds
  • Firm grasping and able to use hand tools

Responsibilities

  • Pulls pallets and cases to replenish the forward pick locations in the pallet flow, carton flow and carousel locations
  • Performs cycle counts in locations serviced by the turret truck.
  • Moves accepted product form the receiving docks to the designated "p & d" stating for putaway.
  • Assists the shippers in weighign, wrapping, staging and loading of palletized shipments. 
  • Delivers receipts of raw plastic to the manufacturing staging area
  • Moves pallet receipts of product from the packing department to the correct storage isle.
  • Moves pallet load shipments from the "p & d" station to shipping dock.
  • May be required to perform miscellaneous tasks within other classifications to assist in plant operations

Education

High school diploma/ GED
