Job Description

We are looking for Injection Mold Operators for one of our clients in the York area. These position are direct hire (they are not temporary).
The primary function of this position is to set up, operate, maintain and adjust injection mold machinery. You will work closely with Quality Control to improve our products.      

Operate Husky Injection Mold machines Keep product within quality control guidelines. Operate all auxiliary equipment (dryers, conveyors, material handlers systems). Perform and assist with preventative maintenance and repairs. Assist other technicians when needed. Requisition parts and supplies needed for preventative maintenance and repairs. Account for any scrap and purge. Follow all GMP’s and Master Cleaning Schedule. Complete all necessary paperwork. Discusses problems with supervisor, maintenance, quality control personnel and other operators. Follows all safety rules and requirements. Performs general housekeeping duties such as sweeping, picking up debris, etc. to keep area neat and safe. Perform other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.

The machine operator’s would train on 1st shift then move to their determine shift. More than likely the shift will be either 2nd, 3rd or 12 hr night shift (7p-7a).

Minimum of 2 year’s experience in plastics and/or manufacturing environment. Prior injection-molding experience strongly preferred. Must be able to read, write, and perform complex mathematical computations including the use of fractions and decimals. Must maintain acceptable attendance and work records. High School or GED Equivalent Ability to work an off-shift, and OT as required
