Spherion Staffing is looking for an Inside Sales person to assist our client; a supplier and distributor of residential and commercial construction supplies in Minot, ND. The ideal candidate for the Inside Sales Representative should have knowledge/experience in the building/construction industry. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for selling or introducing new products or services to established clients as well as new clients; assisting customers with order processing, quotations, and delivery options. This position may also require customer prospecting, project tracking, and numerous general operational duties.
Working hours: M - F
Receive customers' orders by telephone or email, analyze orders, provide information requested, and enter the orders
Resolve customer questions related to orders.
Respond to customers' requests via telephone or email when necessary.
Knowledge of product line, prices, delivery time, etc., as required.
Assist customers at the counter with orders and questions.
Open or close the counter and showroom as scheduled.
Assist with product inventory counts when needed.
