Job Description

Our client has a Direct Hire opportunity for a well-qualified Insurance Support Specialist. This position will perform insurance support in accordance with applicable state insurance regulations for commercial lines insurance as determined by the agency. Qualified applicants should have a strong working knowledge of personal insurance products. This position is responsible for servicing of accounts to include processing and maintaining all appropriate records; assisting producing agents in reviewing pricing and proactively solicit new and renewal business.

Salary Range $30-$45k/year DOE
Direct Hire Opportunity
Property and Casualty License required


Responsibilities:
- Perform service support in accordance with applicable state insurance regulations for personal lines insurance as determined by the Agency
- Display a strong working knowledge of personal lines insurance products
- Responsible for servicing of accounts to include processing, customer service and maintaining appropriate records
- Cross sell personal lines products to benefit the client and review renewal policies in a timely manner according to Agency workflows and procedures

Skills:
Requirements:
--Bachelor's degree preferred
--Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal lines insurance, with additional insurance experience preferred
--Ability to collaborate and demonstrate exceptional relationship and time management skills supported by demonstrated effective communications skills
--Property and Casualty License required
--Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Ability to calculate discounts, interest and percentages
--Ability to read, interpret and analyze moderately complex documents such as insurance underwriting guidelines, policy verbiage and written contracts
--Ability to write moderately complex reports and correspondence
--Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers and the general public
--Ability to solve complex problems involving several concrete and abstract variables applied to standardized situations
--Ability to analyze and define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
--Ability to evaluate the financial needs of current and potential customers in order to ascertain potential financial product needs of customers
