Job Description

Inventory Clerk Job Summary:
Local bottler plant in need of esperienced inventory clerk. Will perform all task associated with parts room operations and supports maintenance department. This is a long term temp position with possibility of going full time with client. Hours while under Covid restriction will be a 12hr rotating shift working 5:45am-6:15pm, 2 days on and 2 days off with every other weekend Fri-Sun. Once restrictions are removed the hours will be Mon-Fri 10am-6:30pm. Pay rate is $17-$19/hr DOE

Responsibilities:
Inventory Clerk Responsibilities:
??? Reviews and plans maintenance projects with the maintenance supervisors to establish an action plan
??? Performs physical inventory and cycle counts
??? Monitors parts usage and notifies maintenance manager of any unexpected parts usage
??? Monitors parts, building and repair services spending to budget variances and reports status to maintenance manager
??? Maintains parts room housekeeping in accordance with GMP standards
??? Performs parts kitting for planned work orders and related duties as assigned.
??? Ensures that parts have proper description and location in SAP data base
??? Ensures that parts are bar coded
??? Ensures that parts room support equipment is in working order i.e.: computers, printers, bar code scanners, and storage cabinets.
??? Monitors and address root cause of any stock outages.

Working hours: 5:45 AM - 6:15 PM

Skills:
Inventory Clerk Skills:
- Computer skills including SAP, MS-Excel and MS-Word
- Reading and interpreting equipment blueprints and schematics.
- Understanding and following written and oral instructions.
- Communicating clearly and concisely
- Knowledge of parts Inventory control methods and systems
- Knowledge of CMMS system and report preparation from same. SAP preferred.
- Material handling equipment. .
- Working knowledge of mechanical/electrical components

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Inventory Clerk Qualification:
HS diploma or equivalent
2+ yrs parts room experience in manufacturing environment, Food and Beverage preferred
Computer skills including SAP, MS-Excel and MS-Word
