Job Description

Receives, stores, and issues equipment, material, supplies, and compiles stock records in stockroom, or warehouse, or by performing the following duties.

Will include, but not limited to working in other areas within the inventory department.
Completes daily cycle counting in accordance with established procedures.
Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices.
Stores articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material.
Updates computer system, prints work orders and assembles work order packets.
Fills orders or issues supplies from stock, transports products to and from designated areas using hand truck or forklift.
Prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock, productions, returned goods and related transactions.
Requisitions articles to fill incoming orders.
Communicates daily with materials department on order changes and updates.
Compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipments.
Marks identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles.
Distributes stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued.
Moves or transports material or supplies to other departments point of use inventory using a hand cart, pallet jack, or forklift.
Maintains inventory and other stock records.
Maintains a clean and orderly work area every work day.
Recognizes and complies with all safety rules. Hearing and Eye protection will be worn when required.
Works overtime as requested by supervisor.
Looks for and recommends product and process improvements in support of corporate goals, objectives and activities.

Working hours: Monday - Thursday 3:30PM-1:00AM

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and comprehend simple English instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one situations with employees of the organization.
