Job Description

Prepares necessary inventory and production paperwork for supply chain and operations. Reviews and closes manufacturing orders. Assists in scheduling/purchasing and inventory functions.

Demonstrates leadership in the area of safety. This requires observing and enforcing safety rules and practices, encouraging safe work behaviors, and promptly correcting conditions and unsafe behavior, which may lead to accidents
Continually endorse the Quality & Food Safety Policies, assure conformance to all requirements of the Quality & Food Safety Management Systems, & take action to properly report failures of these systems to site management.


Assist accounting in review, reconcile and close of manufacturing orders daily.
Updates and maintains Daily Production Records (DPR).
Create and performs weekly inventory cycle counts.
Maintain an understanding of the manufacturing processes and systems in the facility.
Performs Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on inventory discrepancies.

Cross-trained in other administrative functions, with the ability to cover responsibilities as backup to the Planner and/or Buyer.

Working hours: 5:45 AM - 2:15 PM

Must be able to communicate and facilitate the understanding of the terminology related to the job. Ability to comprehend and follow written and/or verbal procedures or instructions is essential. Must have basic keyboard and data entry skills. Computer skills including Excel preferred. Must have basic math skills. High concern for attention to detail. Must be able to organize and plan ahead to maximize job efficiency

No Degree Required

1-4 years

EDUCATION:College degree in Business, Materials or Supply Chain desired. Additional training in Lean manufacturing or APICS courses would be an asset.

Previous experience in manufacturing or materials/supply chain, preferably in an inventory control position.
