Inventory Manager Job
Our client has a job opening for an Inventory Manager. Successful candidate will manage a team of buyers, lead projects, and manage inventory. The ideal Inventory Manager candidate will have no less than 7 years of experience working as a Inventory Manager and have a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Inventory Manager Job Description:
- Manage a team of buyers and planners
- Lead multiple simultaneous projects focusing on improving costs and efficiency
- Follow commodities markets to maintain knowledge on current conditions
- Ensure that purchases have been received in a timely manner
- Manage inventory
- Negotiate agreements with suppliers
Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00
Inventory Manager Job Requirements:
-At least 7 years of experience managing inventory on a large scale is required
-Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or Logistics is needed
-Prefer a candidate with Green Belt or Black belt certification
-Strong leadership skills - must be able to develop team members
-Experience working with Oracle is a must
-Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings
-Frequent travel - 25% or more
HOURS: Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00
