Our talented and amazing client is looking for an Inventory Planner, with starting pay at $20.00-$24.00 DOE. The inventory planner would perform inventory planning activities including material, stocking and consumption analysis. Create purchase requisitions to replenish inventory. Communicate with engineers and buyers. Provide a high level of customer service.
Here are also some of the Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Analyzes Replenishment Data
-Initiates, reviews and processes Purchase Demand / Requisitions
-Acts as the primary customer (requestor) contact regarding forecast, new part adds, Min /Max/ROP, back orders, etc.
-Responsible for meeting with engineers/tool owners to review forecast, changes, new part adds, etc.
-Informs the appropriate individuals (buyers, site leads, managers) of any issues related to the material shortages that may cause a machine/line down
-Coordinates and performs physical inventories to ensure the accuracy of inventory assets
-Maintains accurate and timely data in the ERP system including master records, BOM's, etc
-Manages quality issues, providing strategic analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives
-Identifies & develops material savings projects to generate cost savings
-Performs other duties as required.

Working hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Education and/or Experience
-Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 2 years of professional experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience required
-Prefer 2 years Planning Experience in a Manufacturing setting
-Prefer experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Computer Skills
-Microsoft Office Suite with proficiency in Excel (able to work with pivot tables, use lookup formulas, etc.)
-ERP system experience
Language Skills: English (reading, writing, verbal)
Mathematical Skills: Intermediate
Other Skills
-Be able to work as a team member and foster a cooperative work environment while also being an individual contributor
-Knowledge of Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Materials Management processes and inventory management methodologies
-Excellent professional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
-Self-motivated, energetic and able to perform with little supervision
-Strong customer service (external & internal customers) and interpersonal skills
-Exceptional organizational & prioritization skills

The employee uses computer and telephone equipment. Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee rarely is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
