Job Description

This is a 6 month temporary assignment with the possibility of temp to hire within a growing and established technology company in Burlington. Primarily configures website features, integrates a la carte products, sets up inventory and provides domain management services. The Operations Specialists' workload is determined primarily by the Implementation queues job volume; they are expected to manage multiple set-ups for different clients concurrently. The Operations Specialist may be the primary contact with the client, vendor, digital adviser or salesperson throughout the setup process.

Essential Job Functions:
- Websystem Configuration: Configure website features, Coordinate set up for associated inventory data feeds, Complete timely deactivation of client accounts.
- Set up ancillary website features & services: Coordinate set up for inventory data imports/exports. Identify email requirements and configure accounts in DDC systems. Ensure accurate billing.
- Domain Management: Facilitate domain transfer, registration and renewal for new & existing clients. Provide domain-specific support to internal & external clients. Coordinate domain changes with the Implementation team to meet customer launch schedules.
- Delegate custom tasks and/or sub-tasks to appropriate teams - Implementation Developers, Designers, Inventory Support, SEO, SEM, Engineering, etc.
-Oversee timely completion of delegated tasks necessary to meet deadlines.
- Proactively develop and maintain knowledge and skills related to technology, tools & products (new releases, updates, etc.).- Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Working hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm flex time

Skills:
Knowledge, skills, abilities required:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but 1 or more years of relevant work experience is an acceptable substitute. Customer service experience required.

Technical Aptitude: Good knowledge of web-based applications and common Internet protocols and conventions (web browsers, email, HTTP(s), FTP). Intermediate level experience working with Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel) is required. Knowledge of web display languages (i.e., HTML, CSS) and web development techniques and technologies as well as databases is preferred but not required (e.g., XML, JavaScript, Velocity, MySQL).

- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate articulately both verbally and in writing, positive customer service experience, including managing expectations (of internal and external customers).
- Organizational Skills: Strong time management skills, above average ability to multi-task proactively and respond to issues as they arise; adept problem-solving, ability to follow procedures, flexible to creatively develop solutions and work-arounds
- Works in an open environment within the Implementation Department. This position requires phone work and constant computer usage.
