Job Description

Deskside Technician/ IT Operations Analyst

Responsible for the day to day support of all IT operations, services, and systems.

Responsibilities:
Performs troubleshooting activities in coordination with IT&S
Local Deskside and End User support
Coordination of required Security Access requests and issues
Handles escalations from customers, colleagues and outsourced vendors; informs the IT&S Affiliate Manager in a timely manner when further escalation is required
Responsible for the continuous improvement of services and processes
Acts as an onsite liaison for all IT Operations staff (Telecom, Infrastructure, Security, etc.)
Participates in IT Audits
Identifies other areas for improvement to further increase customer satisfaction
Serves as local POC pertaining to IT Services and Infrastructure escalations
Support new user and termination of equipment for local TCC staff
Works with various groups in IT&S and Real Estate to obtain, review, and process quotes for goods and services; processes invoices for purchased items
Primary local contact for IT Security issues and activities
Participate in the Portfolio Planning Process for IT Operations
Maintains required documentation for all on-site IT equipment
Takes corrective action for local IT issues

Qualifications:
Understanding of core IT concepts, services and support practices
Computer Savvy - skilled in networking, software, Internet, security, etc.
Troubleshooting IT issues
Written and verbal communication skills
3-5 years of experience in IT Operations and/or User Services
IT certifications a plus
