Jewelry Sales Associate

Job Description

A reputable jewelry store located in Summit, NJ is looking for a Sales Associate who would be responsible for giving outstanding customer service to all potential customers. The role would include greeting customers and offering assistance in viewing or trying on pieces as well as matching customer taste to items by demonstrating product knowledge. The Sales Associate will also be responsible for posting on social media, operating POS system, and closing out sales. This position can either be full time or part time, however, candidates must be able to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities:
-Offering outstanding customer service.
-Greeting customers.
-Assisting in viewing/trying on pieces.
-Social media postings.
-Operating POS systems.

Working hours: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Skills:
-Customer service.
-Product acknowledgement.
-Organization skills.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
-Experience selling high end jewelry preferred.
-Must work Saturdays.
-Retail experience is a plus.
